The RCIA program prepares students who desire to be in full communion with the Catholic Church. "Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil, thousands of men and women are received into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new members through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and at a liturgy bringing men and women into full communion with the Catholic Church." United States Conference of Catholic Bishops website

We will once again be launching this year's RCIA program on Thursday, October 9th. This program is designed to welcome any non-baptized or persons baptized into another Christian Faith into the Catholic community. It is also meant to prepare any adult Catholic who has not received the Sacraments of First Eucharist or Confirmation to complete these Sacraments. This is by no means a technical course in advanced theology, but it is aimed at familiarizing adults with the basics of the Catholic faith in order to be in full communion with the Catholic church through the celebration of the Easter sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist). These sacraments will be celebrated at a school mass on the Feast of the Ascension, May 14th, 2015.
